Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactAn incredible alluring piece that pulls the viewer in with its soft flowing mono color with just the right touch of dark's and lights. The images eyes call to the viewer a sadden life that some may even find a connection to in their own lives.
A yellow finch (also known as the bird of warmth) adds to the piece as a symbolic touch of tenderness to the subjects obvious vale of desperation and sadness.
The balance is perfect and the piece is "not" overwhelmingly simple as it first appeared. Vision, Technique, and Impact are strong...Originality calls for difference, but I have seen others with similar depictions but none as mesmerizing as this piece!
